Welcome to TheClarionNews.com! Here are some basic instructions on how to navigate the website:

 

The dark blue buttons below the masthead are the primary Navigation Menu, which allows the reader to access all the different news sections of the site. By clicking on a button like "Front Page", "For The Record" or "FYI", you can view all of the stories in that section from the latest issue of our print edition.

 

The primary Navigation Menu also includes a "Subscribe" button, which enables the reader to quickly and easily renew an online subscription or sign-up for one for the first time.

 

Just below the dark blue buttons of the Navigation Menu are buttons (blue print on white) for some of our other online services. Here you can view our classified ads, access our advertising index, and more.

 

Additionally, this bar contains buttons for our online Marketplace. These buttons lead to current advertising from our print edition. By clicking on "Dining & Entertainment," "Automotive" or "Health," you can view current advertising from our print edition in each category.

 

At the very top of the page in white typeface are additional features, including profile and e-mail update options, contact information, submission forms for anniversary announcements, links to The Derrick. (separate subscription necessary), and more.

 

Back issues and past stories can be accessed through the "Archives" bar at the top right of the site. All editions of The Clarion News from Sept. 15, 2009 to present can be accessed through this page. You may search archives by topic, author or headline.

 

If you're interested in reading the paper as a PDF — the way that the stories are laid out in the print edition — click on the "Print Edition" button at the top of the screen. You can either access individual PDF pages of the newspaper, or you can "FLIP through the Digital Edition" and view the pages like a virtual newspaper.

 

Also, please sign up for our e-mail newsletter by entering your email address in the "Get News Updates" dialog box at the top of the screen.  By signing up for the mailing list, you will receive a notification e-mail whenever the website is updated. That way, you will never miss a new issue!
