Zoning ruling puts bank project in motion

CLARION The Clarion Borough Zoning Hearing Board granted a variance Sept. 15 to Northwest Savings Bank for its new facility proposed for the 700 block of Main Street. It took the board only a few minutes of deliberation to lift setback rules and allow the canopy of Northwest’s proposed four-lane drivethrough to extend within 20 feet of Merle Road.
