Budget delay hits Clarion County Literacy Council’s effort

The agency already reduced its hours; can continue for about three more weeks

CLARION The Clarion County Literacy Council has taken a hit due to the budget delay in Harrisburg. CCLC Director Lorna Tucker told the CLARION NEWS her agency is keeping its doors open, at least for a few more weeks, as the agency continues “living on a shoe string,” which has seen staff hours reduced by about half.
