Game commission and DCNR move ahead with land swap
HARRISBURG The Pennsylvania Game Commission recent approved a
land swap with the Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, turning 4,573 acres of State Game Lands 283 in Clarion County into part of the Clear Creek State Forest.
The land will be under the control of the DCNR’s Bureau of Forestry, though the Game Commission will still enforce game laws there.
