Residents tied to new sewerage lines can keep tanks for overflow

MARIANNE Landowners along River Hill in Paint Township may be allowed to use their old septic tanks as emergency overflow holding tanks after the new sewer line extension is installed. All landowners must connect to the new sewer line now under construction. Usually, this means old on-lot septic systems must be shut down and the septic tanks removed or filled in.
