Shippenville mulls $2 million connection price

Borough will consider making counter offer or rejecting proposal

SHIPPENVILLE The Paint-Elk Joint Sewer Authority wants $2 million and a per-gallon fee, among other things, to allow Shippenville Borough to connect its sewer system to the Paint Elk treatment plant, but borough council is not pleased with the proposal.
