Porter to compete in pageant

CLARION – Gretchen A. Porter, 17, daughter of James and Carol Porter of Clarion, has earned the opportunity to attend Nationals by earning third runner-up in the National American Miss. The national pageant will be held during Thanksgiving week in Anaheim, Calif. at Disneyland where Porter will have the opportunity to win her share of over $500,000 in cash and prizes.
