Some many years ago a group of men built a log raft at Cooksburg on the Clarion River. The purpose, I believe, was to celebrate some anniversary in Clarion. The completed raft was floated from Cooksburg to Clarion. I can’t remember exactly when this happened as I was very young at that time. My best guess was that it was in the mid 1940s.
