Former jail guard sues county for alleged fraternization dismissal

Man claims he was fired for inmate fraternization while two female officers were not

CLARION AKnox man is suing Clarion County, alleging he was wrongfully dismissed from his job as a corrections officer at the county lock-up. According to court documents filed in U.S. District Court in Pittsburgh, Joseph Greenawalt was fired on Aug. 7, 2008, for alleged violations of jail policies involving fraternization with inmates.
