Highland supervisors hold the line on taxes
MIOLA Highland Township supervisors Dec. 1 voted to advertise
a budget with no increase in taxes.
Supervisor Tony Schill said the township has not increased its 3-mill property tax rate since 1982. In fact, the township reduced the millage rate last year, but that was to offset changes in the property valuation ratio in order to keep the effective tax rate unchanged.
