County running low on cash

A million dollars doesn’t go as far as you might think

CLARION Clarion County is in bad shape cashwise. As of the commissioners’ Dec. 8 voting meeting, the county has about $1,856,164 in cash. County Treasurer Tessa Snyder told the CLARION NEWS she has set aside about a half million dollars of the cash for county retirement and payroll, bringing that total down closer to $1.3 million.
