KNOX – MA1 Daniel R. Fescenmyer, a Knox native and graduate of Keystone High School, has retired from the U.S. Navy. Fescenmyer enlisted in the Navy on May 21, 1985, at the age of 19. After completing recruit training on Aug. 20, 1985, in Chicago, Ill., he reported to Opticalman “A” School at Naval Training Center Great Lakes, Ill.
