BEAVER TWP. Lynn Smith was appointed to the Beaver Township Board of Supervisors Jan. 4, replacing Gerald Whitling who passed away last month. Smith was one of two new supervisors taking office. Leroy Ace also joined the board after defeating former supervisor Dennis Cochran in a close election last November.
