On Fox News Sunday recently Brit Hume speaking sympathetically toward Tiger Woods and his recent problems suggested Tiger might “turn to the Christian faith” from Buddhism. This has caused something of a minor flap. Two objections seem to stand out. Did Brit Hume mischaracterize Buddhism? Should television anchors be publicly proselytizing?
