HARRISBURG The state Public Utilities Commission is allowing the Fryburg Water Company to raise its rates, but not as much as the company requested. The commission voted 5-0 Jan. 14 to grant Fryburg Water a two-step increase totaling 31.5 percent, or about $9.80 per month for the average customer. The company had asked for a 41.1-percent increase.
