KNOX Knox Borough Council Jan. 18 rejected a plan to offer contracted police services to Sligo Borough. Sligo Borough Council Dec. 1 approved a contract with Knox police, following Knox Police Chief Stephen Bilunka’s proposal to Sligo that would have provided 16 hours of police coverage per week for $12,500 a year.
