Both sides keep up Interstate 80 tolling battle

Opponents gather in DuBois to map strategy

DUBOIS The U.S. Department of Transportation rejected it twice, but the proposal to turn Interstate 80 into a toll road continues, and so does the local opposition. Local government and business leaders met in DuBois Jan. 22 to call for a renewed fight against the toll proposal at the “Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow” I-80 symposium.
