O-I has a long history in Clarion

CLARION The glass container industry has been a staple of the local economy for more than 100 years, but the expected closing of the Owens-Illinois plant in Clarion brings an end to that legacy. The Pearl Glass Company produced its first bottles in August of 1905, according to Russ Hoenig, unofficial historian of the Clarion plant.
