The recent announcement of Owens glass plant closing will lead to major problems — problems that will affect everyone — from good jobs lost, to loss of tax revenue for the county, to home values tumbling. Homes may be lost to foreclosures and more businesses may fail. I feel for those employees and all the businesses that rely on Owens being in operation.
