MIOLA Highland Drive has long been a headache for Highland Township, but supervisors are now hopeful the state could come to the rescue. The problematic roadway extends from Miola Road eastward over the hill to State Game Lands 283 along the Clarion River, and the lower portions are impassable while even the best portions have drainage problems.
