From the 1960s through the 1980s, we transported three bus loads of women from the New Bethlehem area to Punxsutawney to work at the Rola plant where they made radio speakers for automobiles.
We picked up the workers all along the route, five days a week. (The business had been moved to Punxsutawney after the plant in Hawthorn burned down.)
