CLARION - Six Clarion University students have been awarded with the Association of Pennsylvania State College and University Faculties (APSCUF) Fall 2020 Scholarship. Each will receive a $500 scholarship to use toward expenses for the fall semester.
Scholarships were given to the following students in six categories:
4Greyson Knepp of Summerville; APSCUF child category, integrative studies: art and entertainment management major
4Emily Baker of Strattanville; graduate student category, speech-language pathology major with a minor in psychology
4Samantha Rodgers of Clarion; senior student category, accounting major
4Rhiannon Mack of Hermitage; junior student category, management and human resource management major with a minor in data analytics
4Jenna Joseph of Pittsburgh; freshman-sophomore student category, biology major with concentration in pre-med
4Kimberly Westover of New Bethlehem; at large category, molecular biology major
The criteria used to select the recipients include a minimum grade point average of a 3.2, participation and leadership in campus and community service organizations, and submission of a one-page narrative outlining goals and objectives for the future.
Members of the Clarion APSCUF Scholarship Committee are Clarion University professors Dr. Jeffrey Diamond, Dr. Todd Lavin and Dr. Helen Hampikian. These scholarships have been made possible by the faculty and coaches of APSCUF.
