Local residents graduate and are named to dean's list from Edinboro University

EDINBORO Edinboro University celebrated the academic success of 626 students in the Class of 2020, following a semester of transition from in-person to online modalities due to COVID-19.

The following local graduates were recognized as members of the class of 2020:

4Chad R. Rogers of Knox, earned a Bachelor of Arts in criminal justice with honors;

4Ethan D. Straffin of Clarion earned a Bachelor of Arts in political science;

4Rebekah J. Hurst of Knox earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in applied media arts with honors;

4Gabrielle Noel Smith of Rimersburg earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in studio arts with honors;

4Julia A. Love of Clarion earned a Bachelor of Science in art education with honors;

4Taylor J. Delaney of Leeper earned a Bachelor of Science in computer science with honors;

4Emily M. Shawley of Fryburg earned a Bachelor of Science in Education early childhood and special education;

4Olivia L. Bearfield of Callensburg earned a Bachelor of Science in speech and hearing sciences with honors;

4Isaac Matthew Leonard of Clarion earned a Master of Arts in counseling.
