Registration set for Clarion Christian School
CLARION Clarion Christian School announces registration for the 2020-21 school year for children from preschool through sixth-grade which will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Monday, March 23 at Clarion Christian School located at the New Hope Church former YMCA building at 15952 U.S. Route 322, Suite 2, Clarion.
This event is designed for families to have an opportunity to meet the teachers, tour the facility, review the curriculum and get more information about the school.
Preschool is for children ages three and four. Children must be five years old by Sept. 1 to enter kindergarten.
All children enrolling in the school will be required to provide proof of age, proper immunization records and a physical prior to the start of the school year.
CCS is a non-denominational, non-affiliated Christian school serving Clarion County. The school's mission is to equip students to become the next generation of Godly leaders by partnering with parents through biblical and academic excellence, and by training students to become good citizens that impact the world by living and serving the one true God.
CCS continues to grow and reach more students through-out the community. The small size of the school means students will receive the individualized attention they deserve.
Although, CCS provides all subjects: reading, writing, spelling, penmanship, math, science, heritage studies, physical education, art, music and library for those attending. CCS has a strong focus on biblical integration. Local ministers provide students with a weekly chapel lesson.
CCS needs support from local businesses and community members to provide students with scholarships. The amount of $250 per month would provide a full scholarship for a needy child. If businesses or individuals cannot afford this amount consider making a $25 or more per month donation.
Businesses can take advantage of an up to 90 percent tax credit for making a two-year donation of $1,000 or more. All donations are tax deductible.
CCS will hold its first annual Spring Raffle Dinner from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Limestone firehall. A $10 donation gives attendees a chance to win one of 20 fabulous prizes and a spaghetti dinner.
