Hope Rising Church launches toy drive
CLARION Hope Rising Community Church located at 240 Liberty Street in Clarion will hold a toy drive this Christmas season for needy girls and boys in the local area.
Did you know that there are thousands of local families and children who will go without this Christmas season? Unlike previous years, there has been a dramatic increase of families in need due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Additional familiesare out of work and struggling just to get by, barely putting food on their table let alone presents under the tree.
This year residents can make a difference in the lives of these children and their families by saying "I am."
This Christmas Hope Rising is holding a Christmas outreach program called "I am." You could be someone's Christmas miracle this holiday season.
The ways you can get involved in this outreach program include:
4Stuff a truck: Over the next month Hope Rising Church will be "stuffing a truck" full of new Christmas presents. They will in turn be distributing these presents to the amazing families in and around our community.
To participate, simply drop off your unwrapped Christmas gift between 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Friday or from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday over the next month. The church's greatest need is for both boys and girls ages 13 to 17.
4Donate: You can impact the children and families living in our community simply by giving to this outreach. To donate go to http://www.hoperisingcc.com/online-giving or you can mail in your donation to Hope Rising Church, 240 Liberty St., Clarion Pa. 16214. Hope Rising Church is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, donations are tax deductible.
4Nominate a child: If you know a family who would benefit from this outreach and would like to "Nominate a Child" or children this Christmas season go to http://www.hoperisingcc.com.
