Accidental death

REDBANK TWP. Tpr. Katherine Berggren reports an ongoing investigation of the accidental death of a 50-year-old Fairmount City man at an unknown time between Feb. 17 and 20 along Brookville Street in Redbank Township. No further information was released. The incident report was released March 24.

Corruption of minors alleged

STRATTANVILLE Tpr. Stephanie Graham reports an ongoing investigation of alleged corruption of minors at 8 a.m. March 17 along Ridge Avenue in Strattanville. The victim is a 14-year-old male.

Disorderly conduct at hospital

MONROE TWP. Tpr. Kyle F. Freeman reports a 64-year-old Clarion man faces charges of disorderly conduct at 10:45 a.m. March 26 at Clarion Hospital in Monroe Township.

The suspect arrived at the emergency room and became upset and "caused a scene" in the waiting room.

The suspect allegedly commented as he left that "he has an AR-15 at home and someday he was going to use it."

The Clarion County district attorney's office was contacted and advised of the incident.

Assistant District Attorney Erich Spessard recommended filing the disorderly conduct charge.

Medication stolen

PAINT TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports an ongoing investigation into the alleged theft of two doses of oxycodone sometime between March 7 and 8 from a 73-year-old Oil City woman from a location along Paint Boulevard in Paint Township.

Theft investigation

MADISON TWP. Tpr. Brian Tanner reports an ongoing investigation into the theft of $10,000 from a 39-year-old Rimersburg woman March 4 along McNaughton Road in Madison Township. No further information was released.

Wallets found

DUBOIS Tpr. Jonathan Miles reports the Clarion barracks received two wallets and three cellular telephones from the DuBois area March 26. The items can be claimed by contacting the state police barracks at 814-226-1710.

Harassment alleged

MONROE TWP. Tpr. Brian Tanner reports a 35-year-old Brookville woman faces charges of harassment at 1:53 p.m. March 26 along Holiday Inn Road in Monroe Township. The victim is a 52-year-old Clarion woman. No further information was released.

Retail theft

MONROE TWP. Tpr. Kyle F. Freeman reports a 32-year-old Cranberry man faces charges of retail theft at 2:40 p.m. March 27 at Walmart in Monroe Township after he allegedly attempted to take a shopping cart containing merchandise from the store without paying for the items.

Possession of drug paraphernalia

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Brian Tanner reports a 33-year-old Clarion man faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia at 8:16 a.m. March 16 along South Fifth Avenue in Clarion Township.

Woman scammed

MONROE TWP. Tpr. Kyle F. Freeman reports a 32-year-old Clarion woman attempted to purchase a vehicle online between March 23 and 25 in Monroe Township and sent photos of gift card numbers she had purchased to pay for the car.

Hit and run

MONROE TWP. Tpr. Ethan Rowe reports an unknown driver of a Chevrolet Silverado truck struck a parked 2011 Ford F-350 Super Cab truck owned by Benjamen J. Rizzo, 38, Rimersburg, at 6:42 p.m. Feb. 28 in the parking lot of Tractor Supply in Monroe Township, and then fled from the scene. The incident report was released March 24.

Crash injures Parker woman

OAKLAND TWP. Tpr. Matthew Lesentt reports who people were injured in a 7:07 p.m. March 23 two-vehicle crash along State Route 38 in Oakland Township, Butler County.

Tyler J. Barkman, 27, Butler, operating a southbound 2008 Ford Explorer, allegedly crossed the centerline and struck head-on a northbound 2010 Toyota Corolla operated by Stephanie V. Cooper, 32, Parker.

Barkman, Cooper, and Cooper's passenger, Matthew J. Farer, 29, Parker, were all wearing seat belts.

Barkman suffered minor injuries and farer was not injured.

Cooper suffered suspected serious injuries and was transported to Butler Memorial Hospital.

Barkman was cited for a traffic law violation.
