Indecent assault

WASHINGTON TWP. Tpr. Kathleen Watters of the state police barracks at Marienville reports an ongoing investigation into the alleged indecent assault of a 6-year-old female victim sometime Nov. 13 at a residence along State Route 208 in Washington Township.

Catalytic converter stolen

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports an ongoing investigation into the theft of a catalytic converter valued at $100 from a 1997 Ford Mustang sometime between Sept. 10 and Nov. 15 along Fisher Road in Clarion Township.

The victim is a 50-year-old Strattanville woman. The suspect is a 41-year-old Strattanville man.

Unauthorized use of a vehicle

PAINT TWP. Tpr. Kyle Freeman reports an ongoing investigation into the unauthorized use of a vehicle between Nov. 10 and 18 along Greencrest Drive in Paint Township.

The victim is a 61-year-old Glenshaw man. The suspect is an 18-year-old Shippenville man.

One-vehicle crash

KNOX TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports no one was injured in an 8:34 a.m. Nov. 26 one-vehicle crash along State Route 66 in Knox Township.

William F. Mitchell, 66, North Tonawanda, N.Y., operating a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado, lost control of the vehicle on the snow- and slush-covered roadway and struck an embankment. The truck then rolled onto its side.

Mitchell and his passenger, Gregory F. Drews, 69, Leeper, were wearing seat belts. Mitchell was cited for a traffic law violation.

Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.

Harassment alleged

BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports an ongoing investigation into an alleged incident of harassment at 8 a.m. Nov. 11 along Knight School Road in Beaver Township. The victim is a 16-year-old female.

CLARION TWP. -- Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports an ongoing investigation into an alleged incident of harassment at 9:36 p.m. Nov. 19 along South Fifth Avenue in Clarion Township. No further information was released.

SUV hits embankment

PORTER TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports Breanne E. Rupp, 28, Fairmount City, and her four juvenile passengers escaped injury at 8:30 p.m. Nov. 26 along Summit Ridge Road in Porter Township when she lost control of her 2020 Dodge Durango and struck an embankment.

All occupants of the vehicle were wearing safety restraints.

Jeep rolls over

WASHINGTON TWP. Tpr. Ian Ostrowski of the state police barracks at Marienville reports Janet R. Sternagel, 58, Tionesta, suffered possible injuries at 5:57 p.m. Nov. 28 along State Route 208 in Washington Township when she lost control of her 1999 Jeep Cherokee and struck an embankment. The vehicle the rolled over onto its roof.

Sternagel was wearing a seat belt. She was charged with a traffic law violation.

Hit and runs

BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Kevin Doverspike Jr. reports Victoria A. Yanez, 39, Chicago, Ill., and her passenger, Kimberly Acosta, 19, Chicago, Ill., escaped injury at 10:23 p.m. Nov. 27 along eastbound Interstate 80 at mile marker 58 in Beaver Township when their 2021 Toyota Civic was struck from the rear by what appeared to be a white Chevrolet sedan

The suspect vehicle did not stop. The Toyota sustained minor damage.

BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports Sasha H. Slipak, 33, Danville, escaped injury at 6:06 p.m. Nov. 24 along westbound Interstate 80 at mile marker 58.8 in Beaver Township when his 2020 Subaru Forester was struck by an unknown passing vehicle.

Slipak's vehicle went off the roadway and struck an embankment. The other vehicle did not stop.

Slipak was wearing a seat belt. Frye's Towing and PennDOT assisted at the scene.

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Stephanie Graham reports the driver of a 2006 Subaru Legacy backed into the rear of a parked 2017 Lincoln Continental MKC at 2:10 p.m. Nov. 1 along Robinwood Drive in Clarion Township and then drove away from the scene. The unidentified driver of the Subaru was cited for a traffic law violation. The incident report was released Nov. 30.

Vehicle overturns

REDBANK TWP. Tpr. Leopold Cleveland reports James C. Minich, 88, New Bethlehem, escaped injury at 9:24 a.m. Nov. 27 along Truittsburg Road in Redbank Township when he lost control of his 2007 Jeep Liberty and struck an embankment. The vehicle then rolled onto its side.

Minich was wearing a seat belt. He was cited for a traffic law violation.

Camp burglary

TIONESTA TWP. -- Tpr. Ian Ostrowski of the state police barracks at Marienville reports an ongoing investigation of a camp burglary sometime between Nov. 13 and27 along Stitzinger Road in Tionesta Township, Forest County. The victims are a Baden couple. Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact state police at 814-927-5253.
