Plow truck hits car
Tpr. Nash Rupp of the state police barracks at Marienville reports no one was injured in an 8:36 a.m. March 7 two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Eisenman Road and State Route 208 in Washington Township.
According to police reports, the unidentified driver of a 2013 International Harvester truck, equipped with a snow plow, was traveling east on Eisenman Road and did not stop at the stop sign at State Route 208.
The truck entered onto State Route 208 and struck a 2014 Chevrolet Cruze.
State police did not identify either driver. The plow truck was reported to be a local government vehicle.
The driver of the car told police she was unable to avoid the collision because a PennDOT plow truck was approaching her vehicle in the opposing lane.
The driver of the local government ruck truck allegedly told police he "most likely was going too fast" on the snow and ice-covered road.
Both drivers were cited for traffic law violations.
Crash injures two
FARMINGTON TWP. Tpr. Joshua Bauer of the state police barracks at Marienville reports two people were injured in a 3:31 p.m. March 9 two-vehicle crash along State Route 66 at Anderson Drive in Farmington Township.
John K. Lea, 68, Pittsburgh, slowed his southbound 2016 Nissan Frontier to make a left turn onto Anderson Drive.
Tonya M. Judy, 60, Clintonville, following behind Lea and operating a 2007 Chevrolet HHR, was also turning left onto Anderson Drive.
The vehicles collided with Judy's vehicle striking the driver's side corner panel of the Lea vehicle.
Judy was not injured and her vehicle was towed from the scene.
Lea and his passenger, Nicole M. Lea, 37, Pittsburgh, was transported from the scene and treated for suspected minor injuries.
Judy was cited for a traffic law violation.
Farmington Volunteer Fire department and Clarion Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.
Car hits bridge
CLARION TWP. Tpr. Ryan Drayer reports Rachel R. Malvey, 21, Shippenville, escaped injury at 3:51 p.m. March 3 along U.S. Route 322 on the Clarion River Bridge when she lost control of her 2007 Dodge Caliber and struck the side of the bridge three times, including both the north and south sides.
Malvey was wearing a seat belt. She was cited for a traffic law violation.
