Assault by DUI

ELK TWP. -- Tpr. Dylan Jarrett reports a 46-year-old Shippenville woman faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and related assault charges at 11:47 p.m. March 16 along State Route 208 in Elk Township after she was involved in a two-vehicle crash that involved pedestrians.

The reported victims are a 67-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman, both from Oil City, and a 55-year-old Seneca man.

No further information was released.

Home burglary

KNOX TWP. Tpr. Jesse Kochara reports someone entered a building along Whitney Lane sometime between 11:15 a.m. and 8:19 p.m. May 3 in Knox Township and took a Souless Pro diagnostic automotive scan tool valued at $400 and a small glass window valued at $50.

The victim is a 35-year-old Lucinda man.

Game system stolen

CLARION TWP. -- Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports someone entered the home of a 31-year-old Clarion woman sometime between May 23 and 30 along Robinwood Drive in Clarion Township and took a PlayStation 4 game system and two games.

Three-vehicle crash

WASHINGTON TWP. Tpr. Jacob Snyder of the state police barracks at Marienville reports one person was injured in a 1:55 p.m. June 5 three-vehicle crash at the intersection of State Route 36 and Washington Church Road in Washington Township.

Kathleen Clugston, 55, Tionesta, allegedly drove her 2017 Subaru Outback from Washington Church Road, turning left onto northbound State Route 36. In doing so, she drove into the path of a southbound 2018 Freightliner tractor-trailer operated by David P. Charney, 51, Rimersburg.

The rig struck Clugston's vehicle and then swerved into the parking lot of a nearby convenience store where the rig struck a 2016 Jeep Cherokee operated by a 17-year-old female from Lucinda.

All three drivers and Charney's passenger, Ryan D. Milliorn, 23, Hawthorn, were wearing seat belts.

The Lucinda woman suffered a suspected minor injury.

Clugston was cited for a traffic law violation.

Washington Township Volunteer Fire Department, Shippenville Ambulance Service and Snyder's Towing assisted at the scene.

Harassment alleged

PERRY TWP. Tpr. Matthew Lingle reports a 34-year-old Parker man faces charges of harassment at 8:15 p.m. June 3 along State Route 368 in Perry Township after he allegedly shoved and punched a 36-year-old Parker woman during a domestic incident.

Litterbugs caught

HIGHLAND TWP. Tpr. Dylan Jarrett reports a 65-year-old Clarion woman faces charges of scattering rubbish at 8:53 a.m. April 23 along Bigley Road in Highland Township after items connecting her to the rubbish were found among trash bags dumped along the road.

TOBY TWP. -- Tpr. Dylan Jarrett reports a 19-year-old Sligo woman faces charges of scattering rubbish at 12:40 p.m. May 3 along Monterey Road in Toby Township after items connecting her to the rubbish were found among trash bags dumped along the road.

Hit and run by ATV

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Jesse Kochara reports Thomas J. Smith, 64, Clarion, operating a 2009 Harley-Davidson Road King motorcycle, was struck by an unknown driver operating an all-terrain vehicle at 3:43 p.m. June 1 at the intersection of Greenville Pike and Stoney Lonesome Road in Clarion Township.

The operator of the green ATV exited from Stoney Lonesome before he had the right of way and clipped the left rear saddlebag on Smith's motorcycle.

Smith was wearing all proper safety equipment.

The ATV rider continued along Stone House Road without stopping.

Cough medicine stolen from store

PAINT TWP. Tpr. Nicholas Gray reports a 34-year-old Knox man faces charges of retail theft at 1 p.m. June 4 at Country Fair in Paint Township after he allegedly took a bottle of generic Robitussin valued at $4 and a bottle of Nyquil valued at $10 from the store.

The suspect was identified by video surveillance tape.

Woman harassed

ST. PETERSBURG Tpr. Matthew Lingle reports a 59-year-old Parker woman faces charges of harassment after she allegedly used lipstick to write an obscene message on the door of her 32-year-old step-daughter's residence around 6 p.m. June 3 along Salem Street in St. Petersburg.

The suspect also allegedly sent the same message to the victim via text message.

Deer cause crashes

MONROE TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports Christopher S. Peace, 20, Sligo, escaped injury at 9:31 p.m. June 5 along South Reidsburg Road in Monroe Township when he lost control of his 2015 Chrysler 300 attempting to a void a deer on the roadway.

His car went off the road, struck an embankment and tipped onto its side.

Peace was wearing a seat belt. Harriger Auto Body assisted at the scene.

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Patrick Berggren reports Ryan Pearson, 34, Champaign, Ill., suffered a minor injury at 5:57 a.m. June 6 along westbound Interstate 80 in Clarion Township when his 2016 Ford Focus struck a deer on the roadway.

Pearson and his three passengers were wearing seat belts. The passengers were not injured.

Critter causes crash

FARMINGTON TWP. Tpr. Joshua Bauer of the state police barracks at Marienville reports Aksahy Kumbhare, 26, Oil City, escaped injury at 6:45 a.m. June 8 along State Route 66 in Farmington Township when he swerved to miss a small animal on the roadway and lost control of his 2012 Subaru Outback.

The vehicle went off the road and struck a group of small trees.
