Guns reported stolen, found

RICHLAND TWP. Tpr. Leopold Cleveland reports a 63-year-old Parker man reported four firearms were stolen Nov. 17 from a location along State Route 478 in Richland. The firearms were later recovered and it was determined the firearms were not stolen.

Wheelchair stolen

BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Kyle Freeman reports an unknown male suspected entered Tom's Riverside Market at 7:40 a.m. Nov. 17 in Beaver Township and took a wheelchair from the front of the store and then fled from the scene in a white four-door vehicle headed south along State Route 338.

Vaping alleged

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Brian Tanner reports he investigated a report of a 13-year-old student in possession of vaping paraphernalia at 12:32 p.m. Nov. 18 at Clarion-Limestone High School in Clarion Township. The outcome of the investigation was not released.

Car rolls over

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports Regina Fink, 54, Woodside, N.Y., and her passenger, Ruslan Levkozskiy, 50, same address, escaped injury at 11;21 a.m. Nov. 20 along eastbound Interstate 80 in Clarion Township when she became distracted while driving her 2017 Lexus RX350 and drove off the roadway.

The car struck an embankment and rolled over. Both occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts. Fink was cited for a traffic law violation.

Clarion hospital EMS, Corsica Volunteer Fire Department and Leadbetter Towing assisted at the scene.

Harassment alleged

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports he responded to a report of harassment at 9:36 p.m. Nov. 19 along South Fifth Avenue in Clarion Township. The outcome of the investigation was not released.

BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports an ongoing investigation of alleged harassment at 8 a.m. Nov. 11 along Knight School Road in Beaver Township. The victim is a 16-year-old girl.

Hit and run crashes reported

RICHLAND TWP. Tpr. Ethan Rowe reports Brock M. Fair, 22, Emlenton, escaped injury at 4:25 p.m. Nov. 18 along State Route 478 in Richland Township when he lost control of his 2008 Chevrolet Cobalt and struck roadside guiderails. A witness allegedly told police a blond-haired man fled from the scene on foot with a dog. Hovis Towing assisted at the scene.

BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Kyle Freeman reports an ongoing investigation into a hit and run crash at 7:28 a.m. Nov. 20 along State Route 338 near Twin Church Road.

The driver of 2007 Nissan Maxima allegedly drove off the roadway and as the vehicle started to roll over, struck a culvert. The driver allegedly left the scene of the crash.

Unemployment claim scam

KNOX TWP. -- Tpr. Sean Floor reports a 43-year-old Shippenville man reported an unknown suspect claimed unemployment benefits in his name Nov. 17 in Knox Township. The investigation is ongoing.

Folders stolen

MONROE TWP. Tpr. Brian Tanner reports a 43-year-old Brookville man reported three paper folders valued at $5 were stolen from his backpack which was in a vehicle around 7:21 p.m. Nov. 2 along Perkins Road in Monroe Township. The incident report was released Nov. 23.

State police seek rubbish scatters

FARMINGTON TWP. Tpr. Highfield of the state police barracks at Marienville reports police Nov. 16 received a complaint of a trash truck losing some of its load along State Route 36 in the area of Tylersburg, Farmington Township.

The complainant told police the scattering of the rubbish occurs almost every Tuesday morning, but the complainant was unable to identify the trash-hauling company.
