Burglary investigation
JENKS TWP. -- Trp. Justin Schmader of the state police barracks at Marienville reports he responded to the report of a burglary at the Forest Fire BBQ along State Route 66 in Jenks Township, Forest County.
The unknown individuals broke into the business sometime between Jan. 20 and Feb. 7.
The victim is a known 46-year-old Marienville man.
The investigation is ongoing.

Online theft
FARMINGTON TWP. Trp. Caleb Baxter of the state police barracks at Marienville reports a known 40-year-old Farmington Township woman was the victim of an online theft at 1:01 p.m. Jan. 25 in Farmington Township.
The victim had multiple charges on her credit card for Amazon e-gift cards. The value of the cards is $110.
The investigation is ongoing.
Prison assault
JENKS TWP. Trp. Tyler Lauer of the Marienville Crime Unit of the state police barracks at Marienville reports he investigated the assault of a 31-year-old Huntington man at 10:30 a.m. Feb. 4 at SCI Forest in Jenks Township.
The investigation is ongoing.
Death investigation
ELDRED TWP. Trp. Tyler Lauer of the state police barracks at Marienville reports he investigated the death of a 59-year-old Sigel man at 4 p.m. Feb. 12 on Fisher Road in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.
Lauer reports the man was found deceased by family members. Nothing suspicious was found.
The investigation is ongoing.
Indecent assault
FARMINGTON TWP. -- Trp. Tyler Lauer of the state police barracks at Marienville reports he investigated an indecent assault that occurred sometime between Jan. 1 and Feb. 10 along State Route 36 in Farmington Township.
The assault was reported to a mandated reporter.
The investigation is ongoing.
Alleged DUI
BARNETT TWP. Trp. Steve Ross of the state police barracks at Marienville reports Alexandria Naletko, 27, Marienville faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:55 a.m. Feb. 11 at the intersection of State Route 36 and State Route 899 in Barnett Township, Jefferson County.
Ross pulled over Naletko for a traffic violation. During the traffic stop, it was determined Naletko was under the influence of alcohol. Naletko was taken to Brookville Hospital for a legal blood draw.
Naletko was released. Charges are pending.
Phone scam
WASHINGTON TWP. Trp. Brandon Collett of the state police barracks at Marienville reports a 56-year-old Lickingville female was the victim of a possible fraud at 3 p.m. Feb. 1 on State Route 157 in Farmington Township.
Through investigation, it was determined that an unknown actor called the victim posing as a representative from the Publisher's Clearing House sweepstakes. The actor mailed the victim a check and immediately requested the victim send back a money order totaling $1,700.
The investigation is ongoing.
Burglary investigation
GREEN TWP. Trp. William Gerg of the state police barracks at Marienville reports a possible burglary that occurred sometime between Dec. 1 and Feb. 11 at a residence along Nebraska Road in Green Township Forest County.
Gerg reports an unknown actor or actors entered through the front door of the residence without causing any damage. Nothing was reported missing by the victim.
The investigation is ongoing.
Drug possession
JENKS TWP. -- Trp. Ian Ostrowski of the state police barracks at Marienville reports he discovered an impaired driver and a passenger in possession of marijuana during a traffic stop at 3:52 p.m. Feb. 11 at the intersection of State Route 66 and Carroll Lane in Jenks Township, Forest County.
Ostrowski pulled over a 2001 Pontiac driven by a known 50-year-old man. It was determined the driver was impaired. During the investigation, Ostrowski discovered the passenger in the vehicle, a 49-year-old female, was in possession of a small amount of marijuana.
Charges are pending.
