Criminal charges filed:

lGlenn Alan Fox II, 41, Clarion.

Charged with illegal possession of a firearm, a second-degree felony at 7:05 p.m. Feb. 18 in Limestone Township.

Clarion County Adult Probation officers were making a home check on Fox who, according to court records, is on probation for a drug offense.

Officers allege Fox was in possession of a firearm in violation of his probation rules.

lJamie Leigh Palmer, 36, Clarion.

Charged with one count of possession of a small amount of marijuana and 21 counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, all unclassified misdemeanors, at 7:05 p.m. Feb. 18 in Limestone Township.

Police and adult probation officers making a home check on another person allegedly detected an odor of marijuana in the home. A search turned up a small amount of marijuana and drug paraphernalia allegedly belonging to Palmer.

lThadd W. Showers, 40, Knox.

Charged with illegal possession of a firearm, a second-degree felony; and summary charges of illegal taking of big game, illegal possession of game, illegal use of bait, hunting without a license and violating rules Nov. 30, 2019, in Perry Township.

Game law enforcement officers investigating a tip of illegal game baiting allegedly found two baited sites and four tree stands.

Showers allegedly was in one of the tree stands and allegedly attempted to hide a rife as game wardens approached.

Showers is prohibited from possessing firearms.
