Suicide

EMLENTON Tpr. Adam Haun of the state police barracks at Franklin reports a 48-year-old Emlenton man was discovered deceased at his Main Street home at 9:09 a.m. May 10 in Emlenton Borough.

The man died sometime between 8:30 and 9:09 a.m. of an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound.

Man punched

WASHINGTON TWP. Tpr. Zachery Weaver of the state police barracks at Marienville reports a 65-year-old Venus man faces charges after he allegedly struck a 60-year-old Oil City man in the mouth with his closed fist at 6 p.m. May 9 along County Line Road in Washington Township during a brief argument.

The victim suffered minor injuries.

One-vehicle crash

FARMINGTON TWP. Tpr. Jeffrey Benson of the state police barracks at Marienville reports Meghan E. Sibble, 29, Lucinda, escaped injury at 6 p.m. May 10 along Salsgiver Road in Farmington Township when she lost control of her 2008 Hyundai Vera Cruz and struck a tree.

Sibble was wearing a seat belt. She was cited for a traffic law violation.

The vehicle was disabled in the crash and towed from the scene.
