Missing man

As of May 2, state police at Clarion were attempting to locate Colt Evan Snyder, 20, of Dayton.

Snyder is a white male, 6-feet, three-inches tall and weighs about 190 pounds. He has brown hair and hazel-colored eyes. He was last seen earlier that day wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt, a brown coat, black and white Adidas shorts and black and white shoes.

At approximately 11:22 p.m. April 30, Snyder's Subaru Impreza was found on the Emlenton Br4idge, along westbound Interstate 80 in Richland Township.

The car's engine was running but Snyder was not located.

Anyone with any information about Snyder's whereabouts is asked to contact state police at 814-226-1710.

Rape alleged

SLIPPERY ROCK Tpr. Joshua Bauer reports a 16-year-old girl reported to state police at Clarion she was raped the night of April 16-17 in Slippery Rock Borough. An investigation was opened and is ongoing.

Flees police

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Brian Tanner reports he attempted to make a traffic stop involving a side-by-side ATV at 11:24 p.m. April 24 along Greenville Pike and Servey Road in Clarion Township.

The driver of the side-by-side did not stop and fled from the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

Two-vehicle crash

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Ethan Rowe reports no one was injured in a 1:06 p.m. April 18 two-vehicle crash along U.S. Route 322 in Clarion Township.

Coty J. Ashbaugh, 31, Clarion, slowed his 1999 Cadillac Escalade to make a left turn and was struck from behind by a 2016 Honda Civic operated by Karen J. Morris, 52, Clarion.

Morris, Ashbaugh and his passenger, Ashley J. Phillips, 31, Clarion, and six juvenile passengers, were all wearing safety restraints.

Morris was cited for driving at an unsafe speed. Ashbaugh was cited for a vehicle registration violation.

Theft of cash

JENKS TWP. Tpr. William Gerg of the state police barracks at Marienville reports an unknown suspect took $20 from a plant and produce shed owned by 37-year-old Marienville woman sometime between 2 and 7 p.m. along Gilfoyle Road in Jenks Township, Forest County.

Tractor-trailer entangled with rails

RICHLAND TWP. Tpr. Andrew Harriger of the state police barracks at Franklin reports Johnathon T. Keith, 26, Kingsport, Tenn., escaped injury at 6:11 a.m. May 1 along State Route 38/208 at the intersection of State Route 478 when he executed a right turn onto State Route 38/208 and the trailer of his 2019 International Harvester rig struck a guide rail.

The guide rail became lodged under the trailer and into the passenger side rear wheels of the tractor.

Hovis Truck Service responded to the scene and was able to remove the rail. Emlenton Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
