JENKS TWP. Tpr. Tyler Lauer of the state police barracks at Marienville reports an ongoing search for missing hunter Norman Meeder, 71, Beaver Falls, in the wooded area off Forest Service Road 775, which is near the intersection of Duhring and Lamonville roads.
Meeder is described as a white male, six-feet tall, 240- pounds and green eyes.
Anyone with any information about Meeder's whereabouts is asked to contact state police at Marienville at 814-927-5253.
SALEM TWP. -- Tpr. Michael Stutsman reports a 43-year-old Lamartine woman reported her black 2002 Volkswagen car was stolen at 10:24 p.m. Oct. 25 along Chadman Lane in Salem Township. The investigation is ongoing.
MONROE TWP. Tpr. Patrick Berggren reports a 55-year-old Clarion man faces charges of retail theft at 12:35 p.m. Oct. 23 at Goodwill in Monroe Township after he allegedly took two shirts valued at $12 from the store.
MONROE TWP. Tpr. Sean Floor reports two Shippenville women, ages 28 and 51, faces charges of theft at 9:37 a.m. Oct. 21 at Goodwill in Monroe Township after they allegedly took 10 garbage bags of clothing valued at $1,500 from the location.
PAINT TWP. Tpr. Michael Stutsman reports a 31-year-old Tionesta man faces charges of harassment at 3:32 p.m. Oct. 25 along Paint Boulevard in Paint Township. The victim is a 23-year-old Shippenville man.
PERRY TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports an ongoing investigation of alleged harassment at 8 a.m. Oct. 11 along Spring Rad in Perry Township. No further information was released.
ASHLAND TWP. Tpr. Ethan Rowe reports a 29-year-old Cranberry man faces charges of possession of drug paraphernalia at 11:57 a.m. Sept. 12 along Walt Kahle Road in Ashland Township. The incident report lists a 48-year-old Knox woman as a victim. No further information was released. The incident report was released Oct. 26.
Unemployment claim scam
PERRY TWP. -- Tpr. Kyle Freeman reports a 28-year-old Parker man reported an unknown suspect claimed unemployment benefits in his name Oct. 22 in Perry Township. The investigation is ongoing.
Car hits deer
CLARION TWP. Tpr. Brian Tanner reports Jay T. Tweedle, 28, Clarion, escaped injury at 3:57 a.m. Oct. 24 along eastbound Interstate 80 in Clarion Township when his 2019 Nissan Sentra struck a deer on the roadway.
Tweedle was wearing a seat belt. The car sustained heavy damage.
