Indecent assault

SLIOG Tpr. Katherine Berggren reports an ongoing investigation of alleged indecent assault on an 11-year-old female victim sometime between Jan. 1 and Aug. 27, 2017, in Sligo.

Burglary

PERRY TWP. Tpr. Kevin Doverspike Jr. reports an unknown person entered an outbuilding owned by a 65-year-old Parker-area man sometime between Oct. 15, 2020, and Feb. 5, 2021, along Lime Plant Road in Perry Township and took a "Chevrolet" aluminum trim from a tailgate that was not affixed to a vehicle. The item is valued at $504.

DUIs alleged

WASHINGTON TWP. Tpr. Robert Marshall of the state police barracks at Marienville reports a 65-year-old Venus man faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol at 7:12 p.m. Feb. 7 along Stitzinger Road at State Route 208 in Washington Township after he was stopped for several traffic law violations.

PAINT TWP. Tpr. Ryan Drayer reports Michael Jones, 28, parker, faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and numerous traffic law violations at 12:53 a.m. Feb. 6 along U.S. Route 322 at Kiser Wagner Road in Paint Township after he was stopped for a traffic law violation.

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports a 24-year-old Oil City man faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol at 3:52 a.m. Feb. 6 along U.S. Route 322 at North First Avenue in Clarion Township after he was stopped for a traffic law violation.

GREEN TWP. Tpr. Jacob Snyder of the state police barracks at Marienville reports a 30-year-old Marienville man faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance at 4 p.m. Feb. 12 along Guitonville Road in Green Township, Forest County, after he was found in his vehicle, stuck in the snow, and attempting to inhale "dust off" spray from an air canister.

State police Tpr. Andrew Falco of the state police barracks at Franklin reports the same man escaped injury at 1:15 p.m. Feb. 11 along U.S. Route 62 in President Township, Venango County when he lost control of his 2009 Ford Econoline van and struck a utility pole.

SLIGO Tpr. Leopold Cleveland reports a 44-year-old Rimersburg man faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol and/or a controlled substance at 8:49 a.m. Feb. 12 along Bald Eagle Street in Sligo after he was found sleeping in his vehicle.

PFA violations

RICHLAND TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports he investigated an alleged protection from abuse order violation at 7:50 a.m. Feb. 11 along State Route 58 in Richland Township. The victim is a 39-year-old Parker-area woman.

SLIGO Tpr. Joshua McGinnis reports a 59-year-old Pittsburgh man faces charges of indirect criminal contempt at 11:53 a.m. Feb. 9 along Bald Eagle Street in Sligo after he allegedly violated a protection from abuse order. The victim is a 56-year-old Brookville woman.

Drug incident

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Dylan Jarrett reports he investigated a "found drug" incident at 12:11 p.m. Jan. 22 along South Fifth Avenue in Clarion Township. The investigation is ongoing. No further information was released.

Car hits horse

SALEM TWP. Tpr. Stephanie Graham reports Bradly S. Brown, 24, Knox, suffered suspected minor injuries at 7:12 p.m. Feb. 6 along State Route 208 near Bittersweet Road in Salem Township when his 2015 Dodge Dart struck a horse on the roadway.

Brown was wearing a seat belt. He was cited for a vehicle registration violation. The condition of the horse was not reported.

Retail theft

MONROE TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports Lauren Uncapher, 27, Numine, faces charges of providing false identification to police at retail theft at 5 p.m. Feb. 6 at Walmart in Monroe Township after she allegedly attempted to take items valued at $131 from the store.

Uncapher was placed in the Clarion County Jail on a probation violation detainer.

Drug possession

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Joshua McGinnis reports a 17-year-old Sigel male faces charges of possession of a small amount of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at 7:05 p.m. Feb. 1 along Asbury Road in Clarion Township after he was stopped for a traffic law violation.

Two-vehicle crash

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports no one was injured in a 3:12 p.m. Feb. 12 two-vehicle crash along Greenville Pike near Mays Road in Clarion Township.

Terry L. McIntyre, 38, Clarion, operating a 2013 Chevrolet Cruze, allegedly crossed the center line and struck a 2020 Buick Enclave operated by Samuel L. Haggerty, 49, Clarion.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Both vehicles sustained disabling damage.

McIntyre was cited for careless driving.

Harassment alleged

BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Jacob Beers reports a 42-year-old Knox woman faces charges of harassment at an unspecified time Jan. 29 along Knight School Road in Beaver Township after she allegedly was involved in an altercation with her 15-year-old daughter. The investigation is ongoing.

Threatening text

PORTER TWP. Tpr. Brian Tanner reports a 51-year-old Parker man faces charges of harassment at 2:57 p.m. Feb. 6 along Cottage Hill Road in Porter Township after he allegedly sent a threatening text message to a 55-year-old New Bethlehem man.

Fraud incident

TIONESTA Tpr. Jacob Snyder of the state police barracks at Marienville reports a 53-year-old Tionesta man reported he forwarded money to "Ignyte Funding" for a business loan sometime between Nov. 6 and 9, 2021, from his Tionesta business and never received the loan. The investigation is ongoing.

One-vehicle crash

BRADYS BEND TWP. Tpr. Darren Rice of the state police barracks at Kittanning reports Erika M. Diamond, 23, Clarion, escaped injury at 9:40 p.m. Feb. 10 along State Route 68 in Bradys Bend Township, Armstrong County, when she lost control of her 2011 Honda Accord while driving too fast for conditions and struck an embankment.

Diamond was wearing a seat belt. The car sustained disabling damage. East Brady Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene. Diamond was cited for a traffic law violation.

I-80 crash

BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Evan Cyphert reports one person was injured in a 1:31 p.m. Feb. 5 two-vehicle crash along eastbound Interstate 80 in Beaver Township.

The crash involved Kenneth C. Orloski Jr., 49, Butler, operating a 2009 Ford F-250 Supercab truck and Siclaire Brisa, 38, Oldsmar, Fla., operating a 2016 Freightliner Cascadia tractor-trailer.

Both drivers were wearing seat belts. Brisa suffered an unspecified injury. Orloski was cited for a traffic law violation.

The crash was designated as a hit and run. No further information was released.
