Death investigation

ELK TWP. Tpr. Katherine Berggren reports an investigation into the death of a 59-year-old Elk Township woman sometime between May 26 and 27 along Millerstown Road in Elk Township revealed the deceased died of natural causes.

DUI alleged

KITTANNING State police at Kittanning report Joseph Hopper, 40, Foxburg, faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:43 a.m. April 17 along South Water Street in Kittanning after he was stopped for a traffic law violation.

Crash injures two

KNOX TWP. Tpr. Kyle Freeman reports two people were injured in a 9:58 a.m. June 4 two vehicle crash along State Route 66 near Schupp Drive in Knox Township.

Alexandra Feaser, 21 Canal Fulton, Ohio, operating a southbound 2008 Toyota Rav4, slowed down when traffic ahead of her turned off the road and was struck from behind by a 2008 Honda CRV operated by Amanda S. Wagner, 23, Lickingville.

Both drivers and all passengers in the vehicles were wearing seat belts. Wagner and a passenger in the Feaser vehicle suffered unspecified injuries.

Wagner was cited for a traffic law violation.

Found property

MONROE TWP. Tpr. Kyle Freeman reports an unspecified item was found around 12:17 p.m. May 31 along the westbound lane of Interstate 80 near exit 62 in Monroe Township. Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact state police at 814-226-1710.

Truck vandalized

ST. PETERSBURG Tpr. Kevin Doverspike Jr. reports a 22-year-old St. Petersburg man faces charges of criminal mischief at sometime between June 1 and 3 along Grove Avenue in St. Petersburg after he allegedly damaged a 2018 Silverado truck owned by a 49-year-old Parker man.

Harassment alleged

BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Brian Tanner reports a 37-year-old New Bethlehem nan faces charges of harassment at 9:54 p.m. May 28 along Timberwolf Run Road in Beaver township after he was allegedly involved in an altercation with a 26-year-old New Bethlehem woman.

Animal cruelty

PAINT TWP. Tpr. Brian tanner reports an 18-year-old Knox man faces charges of cruelty to animals at 3 p.m. May 27 along Crestmont Drive in Paint township. Police were alerted to an under-weight boxer-pit bull mix dog and allegations of mistreatment of the dog.

Cash stolen

FARMINGTON TWP. Tpr. William Greg of the state police barracks at Marienville reports someone smashed a wooden money box around 12:49 p.m. May 30 at Briar Hill Rustic Furniture along State Route 36 in Farmington Township and took $70 in cash.
