MONROE TWP. Tpr. Kyle Freeman reports someone scratched the paint on a 2018 Toyota owned by a 26-year-old Sligo woman at 2;10 p.m. March 10 along Perkins Road in Monroe Township. Damage is estimated at $200.
Drug paraphernalia found in house
MONROE TWP. Tpr. Nicholas Gray reports a Clarion area man contacted police and said he found various items of drug paraphernalia in his home at 1:30 p.m. March 5 along railroad Street in Monroe Township. Police investigated and found drugs and paraphernalia.
Crash injures two
MONROE TWP. Tpr. Robert S. Hageter Jr. reports Colin D. Koch, 58, Sligo, and his passenger, Frances D. Koch, 56, Sligo, suffered suspected minor injuries at 4:26 p.m. March 3 along State Route 68 just east of Kifer Road in Monroe Township when he lost control of his 2016 Hyundai Tucson on the snow-covered roadway.
The vehicle went off the road and through a yard, became airborne over an embankment, landed, went through a filed, striking small brush and a ditch, became airborne again, went through a field and another small embankment and struck another ditch.
Both occupants of the vehicle were wearing seat belts.
Koch was cited for a traffic law violation. Southern Clarion County Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Timothy Reilly reports Ana Grubesic, 69, Brook Park, Ohio, suffered unspecified injuries at 8:11 a.m. March 6 along eastbound Interstate 80 in beaver Township when she lost control of her 2012 Honda Civic and struck an embankment.
Grubesic was wearing a seat belt. She was cited for a traffic law violation.
East Main Service and Clarion Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.
RICHLAND TWP. Tpr. Ryan Drayer reports Mikayla L. Markle, 22, Franklin, escaped injury at 8:31 a.m. March 12 along State Route 38 in Richland Township when she lost control of her 2008 GMC Sierra on a patch of ice and struck an embankment. The vehicle rolled over.
Markle was wearing a seat belt. Knox Area Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
