Criminal charges filed:
lKayla Nichole Steele, 33, New Bethlehem.
Charged with receiving stolen property, a first degree misdemeanor and retail theft, a first degree misdemeanor, at 8:15 a.m. Sept. 26 in Monroe Township.
State police Tpr. David G. McBride was dispatched to Walmart (Monroe Township) Sept. 27 to speak to a Walmart employee in reference to a retail theft that occurred the previous day.
The employee allegedly advised McBride an individual identified as Kayla Nichole Steele entered the store and went to the printer ink section.
There, Steele allegedly took ten printer cartridges and put them into a gray Walmart bag.
Steele passed all points of sale and exited the store at 8:33 a.m. without making any attempt to pay for the merchandise.

lTammie Louise Mong, 35, New Bethlehem. Charged with harassment (threatened to smash the victim's face) at 6:50 a.m. Oct. 18 in Monroe Township. Filed by state police Tpr. Tate M. Allison.
Mong is also charged with disorderly conduct (used loud obscene language in a public place) and trespassing (entered a place as to which a notice against trespassing was given) at 6:50 a.m. Oct. 18 in Monroe Township. Filed by Allison.
