Camp burglary

WASHINGTON TWP. Tpr. Lindey of the state police barracks at Marienville reports an ongoing investigation of a camp burglary sometime around Oct. 6 along State Route 36 at Nebraska Road in Washington Township.

A footlocker valued at $1 was stolen. The victim is a 65-year-old Derry woman. Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact state police at Marienville at 814-927-5253.

Tree stand stolen

WASHINGTON TWP. Tpr. Lindey of the state police barracks at Marienville reports an ongoing investigation into the theft of a tree stand sometime around Oct. 1 along State Route 36 in Washington Township.

The tree stand is valued at $350. The victim is a 48-year-old Tionesta man. Anyone with any information about the incident is asked to contact state police at Marienville at 814-927-5253.

Crash injured driver

BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Brian Tanner reports Marvin E. Hall, 63, Rimersburg, suffered suspected minor injuries at 5:09 p.m. Sept. 29 along East End Road in beaver Township when he lost control of his 2018 Ford F-150 truck and drove off the road.

The truck struck a tree and then traveled 45 feet and struck another tree.

Hall was wearing a seat belt. He was cited for a traffic law violation.

Shippenville/Elk Township Volunteer Fire Department and Shippenville/Elk Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.

Car rolls over

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Jacob Beers reports Amanda K. Healy, 38, Ypsilanti, Mich., escaped injury at 1:42 .m. Oct. 4 along westbound Interstate 80 in Clarion Township when she lost control of her 2018 Subaru Impreza in a heavy rain and struck a ditch. The car then rolled over. Healy was wearing a seat belt.

Liquor law violation

CLARION BOROUGH Pennsylvania Bureau of Liquor Control Enforcement L. Sommers reports a 20-year-old St. Marys man was cited for underage possession of alcohol at 11:10 p.m. Oct. 9 in Clarion Borough as the PLCB conducted a patrol during the Clarion University Homecoming and Autumn Leaf Festival weekend.

STRATTANVILLE - A woman accused of stealing more than $70,000 from the Strattanville Volunteer Fire Department was sentenced Oct. 6 in Clarion County Court to serve seven years on probation.

CLARION - A Clarion County jury Sept. 24 convicted Floyd Harry Watson, 45, Knox, on 111 charges relating to the rape of a girl over a six-year period.

ELK TWP. -- Pamela J. Raybuck, 66, Kossuth, Sept. 15 pleaded guilty to one count of reckless driving resulting in death, a summary offense, and has paid a fine and court costs totaling $610.

LOWER BURRELL - A member of the Clarion-Limestone School Board faces an Oct. 19 preliminary hearing on charges he was driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:27 a.m. Aug. 21 in the City of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County.

CLARION - The former tenant of a Clarion apartment building Aug. 25 entered a guilty plea to aggravated arson, risking bodily injury, a first-degree felony, in Clarion County plea and sentence court.
