DUIs alleged

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Brian Tanner reports a 28-year-old Clarion woman faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:26 a.m. June 13 along Greenville Pike in Clarion Township after she was stopped for a traffic law violation.

BEAVER TWP. Tpr. Tate Allison reports a known suspect faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:38 p.m. Aug. 8 along Veterans Road in Beaver Township.

The suspect allegedly backed his 2007 Ford Edge onto the roadway and struck the rear of a legally parked 2019 Dodge Caravan. The suspect then allegedly drove in a northern direction and struck the west side of the Berlin Bowser American Legion building.

CLARION TWP. Tpr. Jacob Beers reports a 39-year-old Strattanville man faces charges of driving under the influence of alcohol at 2:58 a.m. Aug. 8 along Waterson Road in Clarion Township after being stopped for a traffic law violation.

Theft investigation

SALEM TWP. Tpr. Chandra Baughman reports an ongoing investigation of theft at 9:36 p.m. Aug. 5 along State Route 208 in Salem Township. The victim is a 41-year-old Knox man. No further information was released.

Identity theft

WASHINGTON TWP. Tpr. Jacob Snyder of the state police barracks at Marienville reports a 37-year-old Fryburg woman reported someone used her identity to open a bank account with Wells Fargo Aug. 9. The investigation is ongoing.

STRATTANVILLE - A woman accused of stealing more than $70,000 from the Strattanville Volunteer Fire Department was sentenced Oct. 6 in Clarion County Court to serve seven years on probation.

CLARION - A Clarion County jury Sept. 24 convicted Floyd Harry Watson, 45, Knox, on 111 charges relating to the rape of a girl over a six-year period.

ELK TWP. -- Pamela J. Raybuck, 66, Kossuth, Sept. 15 pleaded guilty to one count of reckless driving resulting in death, a summary offense, and has paid a fine and court costs totaling $610.

LOWER BURRELL - A member of the Clarion-Limestone School Board faces an Oct. 19 preliminary hearing on charges he was driving under the influence of alcohol at 1:27 a.m. Aug. 21 in the City of Lower Burrell, Westmoreland County.
