lCharles Edward Mealy, 23, Clarion.

Brandon is charged with manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, conspiracy to manufacture, delivery or possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, possession of phenylpropanolamine or other precursor substance with intent to illegal manufacture a controlled substance, and conspiracy to possession of phenylpropanolamine or other precursor substance with intent to illegal manufacture a controlled substance, all unclassified felonies; operating a methamphetamine lab and conspiracy to operate a meth lab, both second-degree felonies; risking a catastrophe and conspiracy to risk a catastrophe, both third-degree felonies; possession of ephedrine and conspiracy to possess ephedrine, two counts of possession of a controlled substance and one count of conspiracy to possess a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and conspiracy to possess drug paraphernalia. All unclassified misdemeanors; and recklessly endangering another person and conspiracy to recklessly endanger another person, both second-degree misdemeanors, May 29 in Clarion Borough.

Mealy faces the same charges with the exception of one less count of possession of a controlled substance.

The Clarion County Narcotics Enforcement Team received a tip that Brandon and another male were manufacturing methamphetamine in a house along South Sixth Avenue in Clarion Borough.

Brandon is on probation for another offense and Clarion County Adult Probation officers and CNET officers went to the home for a home check.

Mealy opened the door for law enforcement officers.

Mealy allegedly told police Brandon was "cooking meth."

Both Mealy and Brandon were arrested.

Brandon was allegedly carrying meth in his sock.

A search of the house allegedly turned up materials and equipment used in the manufacture of meth.

Brandon allegedly admitted he was making meth and told police Mealy had purchased some of the material used in the making the drug.
