Generator stolen

PORTER TWP. Tpr. Patrick Berggren reports someone stole a red 5,000-watt generator from the property of a 62-year-olkd New Bethlehem-area man sometime between March 15 and Aug. 27 along South Reidsburg Road in Porter Township. The generator is valued at $500.

Harassment alleged

PAINT TWP. Tpr. Patrick Berggren reports a 59-year-old Sarver man faces charges of harassment at 7 p.m. Aug. 31 at Rustic Acres Campground in Paint Township after he allegedly slapped a 59-year-old Sarver woman in the face.

Irwin man cited

FARMINGTON TWP. Tpr. Steve Ross of the state police barracks at Marienville reports a 60-year-old Irwin man faces charges of harassment at 2:42 p.m. Sept. 6 at a Farmington Township campground after he allegedly pushed a 64-year-old East McKeesport woman into a vehicle.

Woman scammed

HICKORY TWP. Tpr. Lee Bunyak Jr. reports a 61-year-old Colorado man faces charges of theft by deception at 10 a.m. March 25 in Hickory Township, Forest Count, after he allegedly deceived a 62-year-old East Hickory woman into sending him $1,000.

Crash injures driver

FARMINGTON TWP. Tpr. Nash Rupp of the state police barracks at Marienville reports Robert D. Shaffer suffered suspected serious injuries at 1:10 p.m. Sept. 7 along State Route 66 near Tylersburg Road in Farmington Township when he lost control of his 2007 Honda CRV for an unknown reason and drove off the roadway.

Shaffer was wearing a seat belt.

Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Department, Clarion Hospital EMS, Snyder Towing and state police Cpl. Troy Owen assisted at the scene.
