PFA violation

WASHINGTON TWP. Tpr. Jeremy Bloom of the state police barracks at Marienville reports an ongoing investigation of an alleged protection from abuse order at 3:47 p.m. Sept. 27 along Old Fryburg Road in Washington Township. The victim is a 26-year-old female.

Burglary reported

FARMINGTON TWP. -- Tpr. Nash Rupp of the state police barracks at Marienville reports an ongoing investigation into a string of burglaries between Sept. 25 and 27 involving several tents near the Leeper Red and White store in Farmington Township.

Miscellaneous items were reportedly taken.

Two-vehicle crash

FARMINGTON TWP. Tpr. Nash Rupp of the state police barracks at Marienville reports no one was injured in a 1:02 p.m. Sept. 28 two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Miola Road and State Route 36 in Farmington Township.

Geraldine D. Smith, 60, Brookville, operating a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze, allegedly failed to stop at the stop sign along Miola Road and entered onto State Route 36, striking a 2017 Kia Niro operated by Melody M. Chisholm, 57, State College.

Both drivers and Chisholm's two juvenile passengers were wearing seat belts or other safety restraints.

Smith was cited for a traffic law violation.

Farmington Township Volunteer Fire Department and Clarion Hospital EMS assisted at the scene.
