CLARION – Several times within the past two weeks The Clarion News has been informed by businesses and individuals featured in the newspaper of an unsolicited telephone offer to memorialize the newspaper feature on a plaque.
The offer is made by a company called “That’s Great News” allegedly based at 900 Northrop Rd, Wallingford, CT 06492-1997.
A female caller allegedly representing the company has called several local businesses and individuals featured in the newspaper and offered to create the plaques.
The call asks for the featured businesses’ or individual’s email address.
The female caller’s message leaves the telephone number (203) 307-0715.
“That’s Great News” is not affiliated in any way with The Clarion News nor is it affiliated in any way with The Derrick newspaper.
“That’s Great News” has several registered complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau.
The Clarion News has attempted to contact “That’s Great News” without success.
