The YMCA summer soccer program is held from July 11 through Aug. 15 on Saturdays July 11, 18, 25, and Aug. 1, 8, and 15 at the Clarion County park. The clinic is a six-week program for children pre-k to eighth-grade and is perfect for helping the youth to build skills and confidence.
Registration is underway now through July 3.
Emphasis is on fundamentals, skill development, non-competitive, equal participation, sportsmanship, teamwork and the Y's Core Values of Caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
All players receive T-shirts.
New program format will include short practice followed by a game every week. Practices will not be held during the week.

Group exercise will return to the Y in July for members. Water exercise classes, arthritis aquatics, SilverSneakers classes, and regular group exercise classes will be held.
Members must sign up in advance. Drop-ins will not be permitted due to number of spots being limited.
Water classes include: Arthritis Aquatics, Cardio Aqua, Aqua Splash, and Senior Splash.
SilverSneaker classes will include: Senior Step-up, Senior on the Ball, SilverSneakers Classic, Senior Strength and Stability and Silver Sneakers Yoga.
Group Exercise will include: Spin, Yoga, Row 45, Yoga for Teens, Yoga for Kids, Flow Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Zumba, Ab Blast, Core, Pilates, Circuit Blast and Body Blast and more.

The YMCA offers monthly swim lessons for children age six months to 12 years old. Classes are available for all stages in July.
The different stages of swim lessons are: "Me and My Shadow" (A+B) class is for parents and young children who are ready to be introduced to the water for the first time; classes 1+2 are for surviving in the water, 3+4 are for developing a swim technique and levels 5+6 are for continued swim development.

YMCA trainers are professionally accredited, experienced, and knowledgeable. Their expertise will enhance your ability to reach new levels in your personal fitness and well-being.
