Swim lessons

Group swim lessons will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays or Saturday mornings at the YMCA in August.

Class sizes are limited to five participants. Learn a life skill with trained and experienced swim instructors.

Group exercise

YMCA group exercise classes are free in August. Water exercise classes, arthritis aquatics, SilverSneakers classes, and regular group exercise classes will be held.

Water classes include: Arthritis Aquatics, Cardio Aqua, Aqua Splash, and Senior Splash.

SilverSneaker classes will include: Senior Step-up, Senior on the Ball, SilverSneakers Classic and Silver Sneakers Yoga.

Group Exercise will include: Spin, Yoga, Yoga for Teens, Yoga for Kids, Flow and Gentle Yoga, Zumba, Ab Blast, Core and more, Pilates, Circuit Blast and Body Blast.

Red Cross blood drive

The YMCA will be hosting an American Red Cross Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 12 at the YMCA.

For a limited time, the American Red Cross will test all blood, platelet and plasma donations for COVID-19 antibodies as an additional health service to donors. This testing may provide critical insight into whether donors may have possibly been exposed to the coronavirus.

Personal training

Work one-on-one or in a small group (with 2 to 4 people) with a certified personal trainer to get the results you want.

YMCA trainers are professionally accredited, experienced, and knowledgeable. Their expertise will enhance your ability to reach new levels in your personal fitness and well-being.

This is a great way to add direction, accountability, and unlimited access to fitness advice and motivation.

The Clarion County YMCA is open 5 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Monday through Friday and 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturdays. The Clarion County YMCA is located at 499 Mayfield Road in Clarion.
