AICDAC offers free Narcan kits

CLARION The Armstrong-Indiana-Clarion Drug and Alcohol Commission is offering free naloxone (Narcan) kits by mail to all residents of Armstrong, Indiana, and Clarion counties. Naloxone is a life-saving medication that can reverse the effects of an opioid overdose.

An opioid overdose can happen at any time to anyone taking opioid medications or illicit drugs containing opioids.

AICDAC also distributes free naloxone during their business hours to anyone that needs it.

Naloxone can be requested by mail by calling (724) 545-1614, ext. 205.

Naloxone can also be picked up in person at any of the AICDAC offices between the hours of 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at any of the following locations: Armstrong at 354 Vine Street, Kittanning; Indiana at 665 Philadelphia Street (the Atrium), Suite 007, Indiana; and Clarion at 1350 East Main Street, Suite 30, Clarion.
