Give this frog a hand

This wood frog was lucky to escape the claws of a cat. It was saved just in time before any danger of being a cat treat could occur. The wood frog is found in deciduous, coniferous, and mixed forests, marshes, meadows and swamps. The wood frog spends most of its time on the ground in woody areas except for during mating season when it is found in breeding pools. Wood frogs thrive despite intense predatory pressure from a variety of snakes which eat adult wood frogs. The frogs also fall prey to snapping turtles, raccoons, skunks, coyotes, foxes and birds.
