LWV hosts county commissioners debate
CLARION Residents are invited to join the League of Women Voters of Clarion County at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at the Main Street Center, 520 Main Street in Clarion for the Clarion County Commissioner debate.
The four candidates participating in the debate are Wayne Brosius, Republican; Ed Heasley, Democrat; Ted Tharan, Republican; and Braxton White, Democrat.
This informative debate is open to the public. Attending the debate gives the community the opportunity to submit written questions to the candidates about issues that they are particularly interested in.
After an opening statement and answering a pre debate League question, the candidates will answer submitted audience questions.
County commissioners make decisions that have a direct effect on our community. Come and find out the candidates goals for the county and what they are planning.
In addition to the debate, all candidates for other Clarion County offices in the primary who attend will be introduced.
